There's a map and it started, uh, gosh, in the, well, it started in the 1800s, actually some of the earliest, uh, observations, but in the 1950s, a huge book was written about this topic.

And there's been people who have followed that.

So let me give you the first, um, the first, uh,

observation about this.

So there was someone called Lehman who published a big book on the topic of when in life do you do your best work?

What age?

Is this a time-limited offer?

And Lehman quantified when do doctors, medical doctors do their best work?

When do physicists make their biggest discoveries?

When do artists make their seminal breakthrough paintings?

Or musicians?

And it was quantified over almost every...

you know, every possible job.

And the pattern was deafeningly clear.

You do your, the biggest, the best work seems to occur when you're like 30s and maybe early 40s.

And then it's like, it's like goes up to a peak around 30 or 40.

And then it's precipitous downtrend after that, right?

50, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, right?

And so Lehman published this and said, well, your best work, your best ideas comes when you're like 30 or 40 and then it's downhill from there.

And boy, did that cause a stir because a whole bunch of other scientists were like, oh, hold on, broski.
