There's been a lot more from the NRL, a lot more focus put on that period than in 2023 when the people running the NRL were Andrew Abdo and Peter Vlandys.

So there's a lot here that's very cloudy.

The integrity of the game deserves transparency.
Now, I know this is Ashley Klein's business, okay, and people can argue that, but the fact also is when you choose to make your living in what is essentially a public space,
such as Rugby League, you're just open for that.
You're just open for that inspection from the wider audience.
It's not like an accountant working in some little anonymous office who has been misappropriating funds and it's nobody else's business.
The other part to it is this innocent until proven guilty.
Now, he's entitled to that, absolutely entitled to that.
