So what I think happens is people start niching too early. voice-verified

They start thinking and limiting the scope of what they're trying to work on or trying to make. voice-verified

But in the very early days of the business, you don't actually know what people are looking for. voice-verified

Some people might be looking for voice-verified

thing A and you're making thing B. voice-verified

And then people keep coming to ask you for thing A and you go, Nope, I don't do thing A, I only do thing B. voice-verified

And what happens is it's like limiting the growth and you're also sort of forcing something into a market. voice-verified

You shouldn't be so confident in sort of what you're doing, or so bullheaded, I guess confident's the wrong word. voice-verified

You shouldn't be so bullheaded in what you're doing to think that you know exactly what your audience and the people want. voice-verified

I use this analogy all the time. voice-verified

You're not gonna be able to sell fishing poles in the desert, right? voice-verified

If there's no lakes or water around, why are you opening a bait and tackle shop? voice-verified

So you're not going to know what the niche is. voice-verified

And I do think that I had a call with uh a friend of mine and somebody else who's in the group earlier today, too, where we were kind of talking about sort of geographical location really dictating the brand and the thing that you're making and all of that sort of stuff. voice-verified

So for example, like in Philadelphia, we have um, you know, we're kind of voice-verified

get up to New York where there's a lot of like higher end, sort of more modern stuff. voice-verified

There's also sort of like farmland type things kind of on that perimeter of Philadelphia. voice-verified

And then we go all the way down to DC. voice-verified

And each one of those markets has a different sort of vibe and a different style. voice-verified
