that the influx of players that came in that year was based off the 2021 Ireland winning team, which carried Conor Cooney and David Bourke and others, plenty of others, Niall Dunne, who got rest from, and others.

There was loads of lads that came in off that team and they became the focus of the Galway squad for the next, I suppose, well, still are some of them for the next decade, to be fair.

So you could see where that was coming from.

I didn't think the same thing was going to happen, you know, last year.

I didn't think there'd be such a major influx of young guys because I thought they'd need time, seeing as they're still in school.
