Um then Julia Flang, who's the twenty four year old estranged daughter of the CFO, a former

uh somewhat professional gamer uh is hired to basically we weekend at Bernie's this guy across the country.

Uh so I kinda I I my hope is it certainly in like the first two thirds of the book that Julia's chapters are satirical and funny uh and and somewhat ludicrously fun.

Um but the other half of the book is from the point of view of this man who's had stuff put into his brain.

And you know, he is conscious and he's going through like a phantasmachoric hell as you know, they're going across country.

And then everything sort of ties up with a, you know, nice happy ending where everybody's hugging at the end.

Oh, I definitely did.

And I you know, I approached I did some things I'd never done before in in a way of approaching this book too.

I never really thought in terms of blockbuster.

But I mean I know what what you're getting at though.

But no, like I I actually thought of this book in in obvious when you read it cinematic terms, uh

you know, in my head when I pitch it to my publisher, I was like, Oh, it's gonna be sort of like a riff on Philip K.

Dick meets the Cohen brothers and I guess meets Weekend at Bernie's also.

Yeah, so I I was actually most excited about writing it.

You know, writing the humor.

Hopefully the humor that's there in the book.

Makes me laugh anyway.

Yes, 'cause it's so absurd, but at the same time I wanted to feel like so real.
