The the conceit of the story seems utterly ludicrous at f you know, at at a first blush.

But right around the time I started even thinking about writing this novel, I joined it was in the US the first class action lawsuit on behalf of writers, you know, suing open AI.

Um, and then clearly my two years experience and the anxieties and whatnot informed the book.

And I quickly discovered like, oh, these assholes would totally do something like this and not blink an eye.

And would just, you know, w without much forethought beyond we could make gobs of money.

So honestly.

I had no

I I didn't feel any um what's the word I'm looking for?

You know, I didn't feel any reservations or I didn't worry like, oh, this is not gonna seem like a realistic tech um satire because I was like, no, this is totally what how it would go based on my experience.

Oh no, for sure.

I mean, some of it was a reflection of like you know, I'd mentioned Patrick DeWitt, like I I love his his dialogue.

Um, so I was definitely aiming for humor at the same time, you know.

Aiming for I should say aiming for pointed humor, you know, at at the Poor Tech Bros.
