And, you know, Abby, Alana, Jen, Lucia, and I all came from that like UCB improv sketch comedy scene.
It is a really small scene.
It's a very small world.
And, you know, I think Abby and Alana started Broad City as a web series around the same time Lucia and I were making YouTube videos because that's how we all started.
We like taught ourselves how to edit.
we like did all, we, we held the boom mic, you know what I mean?
Like we did, we just like fake it till you make it.
And, um, the reason we did that is because it was hard at the time.
It was like, there was a lot of, even though it was a small scene, a lot of people wanted to be on the main stage and it was hard to get stage time.
And so we all kind of did stuff outside of the system a little bit.
