Which is the difference of an SOR...
Am I starting this business again?
But in 2008.
Yeah.
Yeah, because I do look back at the journey that I've been on and obviously I fell into it in a way.
I loved cars.
I filmed cars.
I didn't know this was going to be my business.
I didn't know this was going to be able to generate revenue.
So the fact that I've turned it into something that
has spanned 20 odd years that has been able to pay my bills i've had incredible life experiences and driven some of the best cars in the world and owned some of my dream cars i could look back and go what an unbelievable journey i've been a success there's not many
TV shows or even YouTube channels that have existed for as long as they have, that I can still create content off my own back and have control over how I'm doing things and people still want to watch the videos, which I'm eternally grateful for.
But I do think, like what we touched upon, that flip between ad revenue and looking for adverts in videos and looking for those brand partnerships, the brand partnerships for me
I always had a bucket list of videos I wanted to create.
And I knew I needed financial support to create them, whether it was traveling across America or I wouldn't be able to self-fund them.
So those early brand partnerships allowed me to create my bucket list videos.
But there have been moments throughout this journey where I've worked with brands
like army tricks exhaust is a prime example of i put an exhaust on my r8 without knowing the true value of what those videos were going to do as promotion for that company i got a free exhaust out of them they told me after the first six months of me making videos they'd sold 85 exhausts wow so at the time i thought oh that's cool that's a great case study for me to go and take to other brands to make my money but you just wish you'd done a brand deal with them no i wish i just started my own exhaust company right so but don't you need to know how to make exhausts
I'm not saying I'm manufacturing them myself.
There would have been opportunities to even collaborate with Arbitrix and just white label them.
