Do you, well, first halt, H-A-L-T.

Are you hungry, angry, lonely, or tired?

And are you any combination of those things?

And most of the time when I'm pissed, I'm at least two or three of those four things.

And then he said, ask yourself, does this need to be said?

Does it need to be said by me?

And does it need to be said right now?

And that's just a litmus test sort of thing.

You're not scolding yourself.

You're just trying to be logical.

And it's tough for you because you're a stand-up comedian and a public figure and you're doing the radio thing.

So it's like you innately have this thing that says, my job is to press the button.

My job is to pull the trigger.

So it's like that even more so, I wouldn't look at you and be like, oh, I'm so offended by Adam.

I might disagree with you, but in the end, I'm like, that's his thing, you know?

Well, and what, you know, I'm a person of faith.

So my thing, too, is like, what is the heart behind saying it?
