The woman says that,
Oh, she looks at his face and she says, I hope she grows up to look like her dad.
That's a lot to unpack, isn't it?
Yes.
We laugh and we say goodbye and we carry on walking.
And then Simone kind of says, what does she mean by that?
What does she mean by that?
So we talk about it for a couple of minutes.
And Simone's offended.
Yeah.
I'm trying to figure out what she meant.
I'm saying I think she was doing a joke because I haven't had a haircut since 2025 and I have a scruffy face.
I think she's doing a joke that because in her mind, it's a baby girl, her growing up to look like sort of a hairy man.
That might be a joke.
I would say, um, not only a beautiful lady, the most beautiful lady.
I can see she's rattled.
We've walked for about two minutes, and I actually say, should I go back and ask?
Because...
I don't want you thinking about this for the rest of your life.
Cause you know, when people do say things like that, I think when it's about like your face or, you know, someone will say just something offhand about your nose or something.
