It's probably the movie I've seen the most in my life.
Well, first of all, they play it on planes.
So I'm always like, I'm just going to watch this again and fall asleep.
And I just get totally wrapped up in it with the aesthetics, with all its complications, with its problematic...
with how much people have a problem with what it is.
And I just think it speaks to our time so clearly.
And Cate Blanchett is undeniably incredible and frustrating.
And the scene, you know, she's always conducting and falling into this madness.
And there's this scene where she's conducting, but it's clearly not conducting at all.
It's just like making these...
grimace looks and her hands are just like, like that, like moving around.
So sometimes I make people sing along with my song, Dick in the Air, and they all have to sing, dick, dick, dick.
So I, you know how you can direct an audience, like put one hand up like, you, this part of the crowd sing louder and this part sing quieter.
And then I just start mixing them up because I'll do the grimace face and just like fold my hands around and see if anybody notices that that's from Tar.
Ambush me is a very interesting way of saying it.
Yeah, it kind of like, it's like a little bit like, come on, you know you want to do it.
