defeats you know the group are something we should be very proud of we have a chance now to qualify for a World Cup I hope everybody gets behind them on Saturday you know there's nothing better for the girls playing in the Aviva and I've been at a few of the games sitting there when there's been a great buzz whether it's the Northern Ireland game the Wales game although it didn't go our way but you know the more the merrier for them to get behind them because look like we've seen tonight it's not a guaranteed win so you know having that home crowd now and for us really to go attack the game will be very beneficial for the girls
We are.
Dublin Derby against Bowes on Sunday.
So, yeah, the rivalry commenced.
Obviously, both Dublin clubs, we've built up a rivalry the last few years.
And obviously, we had Evo in with the squad as well, which was brilliant.
And Maria Reynolds from the league, which is obviously a huge positive.
So, saying to Emma earlier, you know, both clubs are probably thinking Rovers and Shelter.
The girls come out, no injuries, because you're going straight into a game on Sunday.
So, yeah, looking forward to the domestic game.
coming back hopefully now on Saturday to pause the result and then the league can bounce off on Sunday.
I think so you could see that before you know Ava and Maria were brought in Ava Brennan had got a called up and deservedly so she's probably one of the best young talents in the league she was at Shell's Academy and then moved the balls to go play and she's just got better and better I was with her over Christmas at a few sessions she's phenomenal she breathes and sleeps football and I think Carly yeah look she gets around doesn't she has staff at games that's all you can ask as a player in the league especially for the up and coming talent who likes it
Avian and Maria who are in the squad now just want a chance and you know we've good players in the league so I think it's only right Is that talk on Sunday?
Yeah, I suppose you do.
Look, Hans is one of those OGs around the league as well, probably in and around my decade, if you like, and Hans is probably a different position than me in midfield, so I'm sure she would have to adjust her game in whatever way they play, but I mean, just work hard, make sure the body's right, and look, I'm a centre-back, so if you're clever enough, you can get the people in front of you and you talk enough to communicate, but
I just think it's the hard work, the dedication, the recovery, all that sort of things.
It's a team game, isn't it, really?
So it's just working together with the team and the coaches and what they want.
I think we just have to enjoy it as much as we can.
Yeah, I wouldn't be the quickest either, but I think if you can read the game well, you can get yourself in a situation where you're not caught out or like that, reading the game.
