So for a couple of years, which was way longer than I thought that period would be.

We just sort of sat with it.

And I did the work on myself with being okay with sitting with it.

And trying to support

And then we started having conversations about what do you think you might want to do?

What would it look like to explore that?

Right.

And just being really open, not bringing my ideas to the table.

But guiding.

when he was struggling with his own ideas, right?

And letting him know that we don't have a specific timeline.

We don't have a specific career that we think you should be

pursuing or anything like that.

It's like wide open, which can be overwhelming.

But in the place that he was at, it's really what needed to happen, like this complete acceptance of his journey, his being, what he wanted, right?

He needed that for that healing.

And then we started talking about.
