So before we talk about some different options and paths, I wanted to talk a little bit about this idea of independence versus interdependence.

Because as I dug into

those two terms in preparation for our conversation, I realized that really we

I actually want interdependence and not independence because interdependence is when I can do things on my own.

They are doable, but I also know that I can get support when I need it and I am okay with doing that.

I'm good with asking for the support.

Because we need each other, we need connection.

to have a happy, fulfilled life.

If we're completely independent in kind of this really black and white way of thinking about it.

We're missing that and we're missing the idea that no man is an island.
