I read that quote, but I'll be honest with you.
I was sort of concerned by the FBI is investigating lawmakers for no reason, but I hadn't really thought about the sort of obvious parallel, which is like –

Yeah, it is language of the 1850s.
And, you know, no one is enslaved today.
So we're not you know, we're not saying it that way.
But it is the sort of divide between the parties and the sense that everything is existential on the right is really strong.
Like they, you know, think about the context here.
What's really happening is the House almost always the party of the president almost lose almost always loses the House.
They passed this unpopular domestic policy bill full of taxes to the rich and cuts to health care.
The Republicans know they're about to lose the House, or Donald Trump knows he's about to lose the House, and therefore he would have to check on his power for the first time.
He's been sort of an unchecked, in a way, unprecedented, do-whatever-the-hell-I-want president.
And if the Democrats win the House, he would be under check.
