So what does he do?
Call down to Texas, which wasn't thinking about gerrymandering before and is like basically –
Give me these five seats.
They also called the New York Times, Trump's staff, and said, anybody who doesn't help me get these five seats is not a loyal Republican, and there will be consequences for that.
So now you have the legislature coming in.
But this is all about Donald Trump wants to basically deny a democratic process where we have a fair midterm election that he would probably lose.
Like, gerrymandering happens, but we are watching –
An authoritarian try to rig the rules the way people do in Hungary and places like that.
This is not just gerrymandering.
And that's where I think the media.
Yes, people gerrymander all the time.
But this the president calling in a gerrymander to protect the House is very unusual.
So what I'm trying to get at in the radical agenda part is if you go to, you know, like we're talking about with Congress, but also if you go to most red states, what you'll see is their agenda is not popular.
Like I live in Kentucky.
The majority of people in Kentucky are Republicans, but they don't want school vouchers.
They don't want tax cuts for the rich.
They don't want these crazy abortion bans.
But the Republicans find a way to gerrymander so much that they
eventually they'll be able to pass these things.
And that's the point is like, I think that in Texas, what you're really seeing is they want to disenfranchise essentially, you know, the way they want to change this is you would, I think the Democrats have 12 seats of the house right now.
