And the fact that there's sort of what's going on here seems to me like an ideological purge in some ways.
And that's what I'm that is affecting black journalists more than white ones, but affecting white journalists, too, of course.
When Bernie Sanders started running for president in 2015, he talked about corporate media all the time, and I was sort of like, corporations, whatever.
I'll be honest with you.
I didn't take much of it.
But I think now it's not that journalists are the problem or CBS News is the problem.
It's more that Paramount or Skydance or Discovery.
Or whoever owns the – that's what's really happening.
It's not necessarily that the journalists have moved to the right.
It's that the companies want to merge or they want fewer, bigger tax breaks.
And looking back, it's probably not great that the Disney Corporation runs one of the biggest – ABC News runs one of the biggest news operations or Discovery runs CNN or we can go through this list.
I think that's the problem is that it's like not journalists describing, it's not that journalists are not sure what to do.
It's that their corporate bosses who are non-journalists are telling them move to the right or get fired.
And those are not great choices, particularly if you are the breadwinner at your house.
So I, oh no, I know a lot of journalists struggling with how do I tell the truth?
How do I go home at night, feel good about myself, but also keep my job?
That's, you know,
That's where we are right now.
It's a terrible place to be.
