So I'm not of the view that you should unsubscribe or stop looking at those things.
There are people doing great work at CNN and places in the Washington Post and the mainstream media.
But since the corporations have such a big role
And since they're pushing down on the journalists, I think we also need to invest in alternative media institutions.
And that could be a YouTube show.
That could be the Don Lemon show.
That could be the New Republic, obviously.
That could also be The Nation, The American Prospect, Georgia Read Show, Substack Newsletters.
I think it's just worth having your head and having, you should every day be thinking about,
Where is my news coming from?
Is this person under the thumb of some kind of some executive who wants tax cuts from Trump or something?
And to make sure you're reading some people who who I think, you know, you know, Don, you're running ads.
So you're not so you're trying to make money.
I can see that.
But you're not like under the thumb of discovery or a big corporation is telling you what to say.
And I think that's where we are now.
And there's a long tradition, as you know, of black journalists, particularly being independent.
