What difference do you see in your students from your teaching?
Because a lot of them, like the professors, are just joining a new area and in their case might be leaving after a few years.
What impact do you see in differences in them?
That's really impactful.
When you were talking about first year writing assignments, it reminds me of how I got started.
And I'm thinking about how authors like you have helped me evolve my teaching and find more meaningful assignments and connections with the students.
Your book has co-authors, there's student work in here.
It's really a community-based one.
It's really interesting the way you approach the scholarly work.

That's really insightful.
It was evident from reading your book.
Your research is slow, relational, deeply collaborative.
And I do think it challenges the way research is usually valued in the academy.
