So egg freezing may kind of be more of a symptom than the problem.
Like why do some women I'm not talking about this sporting context generally feel
Feel they need to postpone having a child in the first place because you know, we look at all these areas of maternity and paternity leave, and people have always seen that when women take time off for maternity leave, they come back and often the job has changed or their pay has changed.
And we see this very clearly if you look at men, they get offered paternity leave and they don't take it because there's a their policies there, they're allowed to take it, but they understand that possibly if they do take it, it may affect their.
career.
So I think there's a kind of a broader workplace challenge.
Yeah, th like there's policies and regulations are great, but everybody who's worked in the workplace realised there's kind of a way things are done around here often and if you can complain too much often that isn't good for your career either.

That if you make a choice like this, you're opening it up that certain people are then said, Well, you
You know, they're doing it, why aren't you doing it?
And again, let's hope that doesn't happen, but I think they're the kind of unintended consequences that kind of come up depending on the culture of the organisation.
Yeah, well look look f so firstly, if you look at the work the thirty percent club have done, um, they've done great work in actually getting more um women onto boards, but they will still highlight there's only one female CEO and one female chair in the Isaac twenty.
So we can't say the job is even close to being done w around the whole area of equality.
And I I would agree with you if you look at the way technology is meant to help us, like technology, the whole the hope we keep being told is is to make us better workers, but it's not helping build
