Imagine again your daughter, she's come home from kindergarten, first grade, whatever, same sort of scenario, and she has something to show you, like that is really, really, really important to her.
But you're the mum and maybe you have a newborn and they're six months and you're breastfeeding and mummy, mummy, mummy, your daughter who's five or six is trying to get your attention.
But you have other things you're attending to and then your husband comes home and he wants something and you have to put food together and you're in the middle of doing laundry, but your daughter keeps coming back.
Why does she keep coming back?
Bingo.
That's all that's happening.
Is there's the part of you that is so hurt, that feels so rejected, that feels unseen, not even recognized, that keeps coming back because you haven't made space for it yet.
