The reason why is I think generally this guy's got a bright future in basketball.
He's an amazing player.
But at 17 years old, was I ready to compete with adults in the marketplace?
No.
I think he's got a great opportunity.
opportunity to continue to learn, to continue to grow, finish out this college education, still make a lot of money.
And in fact, I would contend that the money he's making right now is easier than what the money would be in playing pro within the NBA.
So if I'm him, I'm staying in college, I'm playing a few more years, potentially get a national championship underneath my belt.
