And I I think that's the piece that's missing today.

Um is a

broad way to do that, uh, where everybody's opted into it.

Some of it.

Um some of it is there's also a lot of people still making money on checks.

Um while you know I kind of pose in my blog that

you know, we don't really charge for checks in the way that we should, uh, which is the value for exactly how much it's costing us to do it.

I think that's

true for the most part.

But there are people who are specializing in checks.

I mean, even some of the money center banks who specialize in like the last bit of those checks and make a lot of money off of that.

Um so you know, I think it's

Yeah, I think it's hard to just kind of pinpoint it to one thing, which is part of the challenge.

Um, risk adverseness, I think there is a little bit of risk adverseness from financial institutions that if they got rid of it and they don't have the equivalency of something that somebody else can use at the same quote unquote price that they feel like they're going to be brought out into the news, even if they were able to tout all of the negative features of what a check provides.
