So what they're doing is not only attacking the pharma companies,

But they're trying to say that the academic health centers, the medical schools are in bed with the big pharma companies.

And therefore, we have to take that down, too.

So what are they doing?

So one of the things that you're seeing is an attack on biomedical journals.

And you saw this from Mr. Kennedy, you know, trying to attack JAMA and New England Journal of Medicine and other

and trying to strong-arm them into declining or retracting papers that don't fit his confirmation bias, and also at the same time promoting his own alternative reality journals.

I mean, these are WordPress documents.

that are made to look like real journals.

They even have editorial boards comprised of anti-vaccine activists and that sort of thing.

So it's trying to create that parallel universe.

And then attacking the support for it from the National Institutes of Health or the National Science Foundation.

So there was a proposal from the Trump administration to cut the budget of the NIH by 40%, I think, from 2020.
