Okay, although I'm not so keen to kind of do the jump off the side, so I think I'll leave that to others.
So we're a community-funded organisation, which means we don't take any money from central government.
That means we can be an independent voice for patients.
We're really here to try and beat back bowel cancer on every front.
So that can be things like this, awareness and helping people to recognize what to look for.
But also we want to be part of the journey for people.
So right from if you're worried about symptoms and thinking, what could this mean for me?
Right through to if you did get a diagnosis, all the stages through being in that journey, if you're providing you with support the whole way through.
That's things like our nurse advice and support line, online support groups that are safe spaces that are moderated by clinicians, but allow you to kind of connect with peers and figure out what's going on through to things like counselling to help you adjust, physio to get you back on track after treatment, things like that.
So we provide a wide range of things, but we also try and work with the government to say, look, we can see around the world where people are doing a much better job at tackling this, and we can see that many of the deaths that are happening in New Zealand are preventable, so we can do something about it.
So we're doing research as well to help with that.
Yes, so bowel cancer in New Zealand is very common.
Overall, we're about sixth out of 183 countries in terms of our rates of bowel cancer.
But what some great New Zealand researchers found in recent research was they looked at what's our growth rate, particularly for younger people, people in their 20s, 30s and 40s.
And we've got the fastest growing rates of bowel cancer, early onset bowel cancer in the world.
It sure is.
But the thing is, there are things that we can do about it.
So I think we have to recognise that and we have to respond to it.
