A bit of limbo perhaps?
They got back to winning ways and back on track on Wednesday as we said and we'll be talking about West Ham and what's next for them a bit later in this show.
They've got Liverpool next up so it doesn't get any easier.
Ben, Leicester vs Manchester City though.
This is a fixture which will forever be...
A good excuse to roll out Vincent Kompany's stunning winner from last season, won't it?
And you've been having a look this week at what he's up to right now.
Yeah, because it feels like that failure to replace Kompany.
Although perhaps we might say that Kompany wasn't the answer himself this season for City in central defence.
By not replacing him, they've left themselves a little bit short with that Laporte injury, haven't they?
That's a knock-on effect yeah absolutely and Gerard we talk about the importance of improving your team and your squad when you're in a really strong position and then kicking on again and that's perhaps something that Leicester are looking to do at the moment as well with talk about Adam Lallana
Because obviously that pace, I know it's the pace on the break was something associated with the Leicester title winning team.
And clearly under Rodgers, there has been a shift to more control and possession.
But Ben, you were saying earlier today to me that it still remains an important part and perhaps will be a key part in this game at the weekend.
the potential of the Port having to play two games in the space of four or five days having you know only just come back from injury himself it'll be it'll be fascinating to see yeah it'll be interesting to see how it plays out and you mentioned sort of Leicester's recent dip and it's three wins in 10 Premier League games so and also that Carabao Cup semi-final exit to Aston Villa so yeah a little blip which um but they could certainly get back on track with a big win here at the weekend and
That would give a huge boost to their top four chances.
