If you just look at one use case, early wage access, early wage access took payroll from two times a month to 28 times a month.
so there's a lot more payments being made um the other thing is uh if you look at the numbers the per transaction numbers uh are seem to me to be unnaturally high um which leads me to believe that either people are doing venture capital fundings and house closings on these networks um or you know balance transfers or something like that so i think that
These networks are growing.
The use cases for which they're being used are growing.
And the ways people are using them are changing.
As they become more mainstream payment mechanisms, we will see more mainstream averages in terms of value per transaction, things like that.
But the answer to your question is no, I do not think that the instant payments growth is coming at the expense of ACH.
And again, I have not defined major by this is a buy.
So for those of you who don't know, OBO is on behalf of their there used to be a rule on the RTP network.
And I'm going to paraphrase here.
But basically, it says, you may not be able you may not use the RTP network
to send money for anybody but the original sender and then the original receiver.
So you can't send money that then gets passed on to someone else.
And so that was relatively restrictive.
If you think about just I'm going to move money from one subdivision to another subdivision, and that subdivision is going to go pay somebody offshore,
well, that might be a big amount of money.
But if the ultimate beneficiary is not the party that I'm sending it to for these funds, by rule, I was not allowed to do that.
And so this concept of on behalf of, or they refer to it sometimes as a one-leg out transaction,
enables the use of RTP in kind of a correspondent banking model, where I can use RTP to move money very quickly to get money from a party to another party where I as a bank, I'm essentially a service provider.
Well, as a Cub fan, I'm so used to embarrassment, I don't even know what the scale looks like.
