Now that said, I do think that there are use cases.
So we talk a lot about connected commerce.
We talk a lot about cars pulling into gas stations and the pump just lights up and they can pump gas.
All of those kinds of transactions, those could really benefit from a very efficient digital exchange of value.
Yes, and now you're leaning into my 5 or 10 or 15 years from now scenario, right?
Tomorrow, I'm not going to be able to sell my house with digital currency on the blockchain because my house is not on the blockchain.
But yes...
blockchains have this ability to enable something called the tokenization of a real world asset.
That's happening today.
And certainly, if I have a tokenized asset, if I have something that is represented digitally, and I want to pay for it, and I have a digital way to pay for it, that's a perfect example of where that digital form of payment becomes the much more efficient way to do it.
And if you extend that and say, okay, fine, well, let's take
The Willis Tower in downtown Chicago, the old Sears Tower.
I'm an old Chicago guy, so it's hard not to say Sears Tower.
But they have, let's say, 15,000 tenants.
And so today, what happens?
Well, there's a provider who manages the building.
That provider knows who all the owners of the building are.
They know who all the tenants are.
They collect money from the tenants.
They put it in a bucket.
