do a couple of exercises at the traffic lights while i'm cleaning my teeth or when i get into bed for the first five minutes which is what a physio said to me every night no matter what time you go to bed just do five minutes of pelvic floors yeah the pelvic floor muscles are remarkably responsive yes i have had a cough for three months and i think my pelvic floor is now in great shape because i have had to go like this every time i cough yeah um i would rather not have the cough i'd rather do the pelvic floor exercises

But it feels like we can actually not leave something until it's like a prolapse, right?
Take the pressure off.

I went to see a pelvic floor physio for grey areas.
We did an episode, which if anybody listening wants to check out, it's excellent.
and they were so great it was so good to talk to somebody who knows about this musculature and who understands and who can assure you of what isn't wrong help you with what is needing support or refer you up the chain to somebody who will actually you know take action if that's needed I think
It's so important for us not to be so afraid that something terrible has happened that we take no action or so dismissive of our needs that we take no action.
It's like how do we encourage women to pay attention to their bodies and go, oh, I think I need to talk to somebody about this or I think I need a bit of support here.
