I mean, you've got to keep evaluating that.
Primarily, I'd like to develop them.
I'd like them to come through our academy and come through.
And we've had some really bad luck in that process.
I mean, we invested in a young fellow called Carl Olowapu, who got a very, very serious injury early in his career and his days with us.
And the other one we invested in is young Mitchell Woods, who's played very little football over the last 12 months and
probably in our thinking and anticipated that this would have been the year where he would have at least debuted last year and this is the year where he'd be available to be playing first grade and that would have been a natural progression for him but those things haven't happened and we've had to accommodate from there as well.
The other part of this is too that Lockie Galvin, he's a very special individual and he's a very special talent but he's a 20-year-old kid playing in a very, very important position and you've got to consider Lachlan Galvin's grounding coming into this.
Lachlan Galvin
I don't think I've ever seen this too often before.
Went from schoolboy football to NRL with the West Tigers.
He didn't play any SG ball.
He didn't play any Jersey League.
He didn't play any New South Wales Cup.
He finished a schoolboy season and the next thing he was playing NRL in first grade with the Tigers who were a team down the bottom of the ladder and immediately come in and had an impact.
So he's obviously talented.
He's never had to run a football team as himself at seven.
And longer term, he's probably not a seven, but he's getting great experience at the moment.
He's learning the game really well.
It's wonderful for him.
