People do forget that.
They definitely forget it.
And five losses in a row will make them forget it too.
Whatever's being said about us at the moment, whatever critique our team is getting, whatever criticism it's getting,
We've given them the excuse to say it because we've been losing games.
So the only way you can change that is win.
And we're well aware of that.
And that's everything we're focused on is trying to win.
Footy's changed.
It's as simple as that.
The footy, the scoring?
The product.
If you want to have a philosophical talk about the game itself, and I come from a different era, even before your era, but for me, the philosophy of football for me is that on every play there should be an equal opportunity between attack and defence.
And I've seen any number of times over the last three or four decades where officialdom and rules have tried to interfere with that balance, where there's been a scene that we need to have more points scoring and more tries scored in the score of entertainment.
The business of the game...
overrides the playing of the game and what the game is all about.
And there have been massive changes in our game on other aspects too, around concussion, head knocks, HIAs, interchanges, other rules that are being enforced as well, the type of refereeing that we're getting.
And you've got to keep adapting.
And what works this year might not work next year.
What works this week might not even work next week, just depending on who you play, what the conditions are, who the referee is on the day and what have you.
