I think in most clubs, we try to give the head coach everything he wants.

I think that's what we try to do.

And that's certainly the case with us.

Cameron Crowder gets last say on most things, which is staffing and recruitment.

Absolutely.

I'm not going to do anything that he won't be happy with.

Nor would he expect me to.

But we do discuss it.

And there are some times we agree and sometimes we disagree.

And I'll involve the chairman.

Sometimes I involve the board.

We'll discuss things depending on what it might be, whether it's a player or a staff member or what have you like that.

But we pretty much talk about everything.

I mean, it's not a formal type of arrangement.

There's no, I wouldn't say that one person carries the whip hand in anything that we sort of do.

Our one thing is that we do everything in what we think is going to be the best long-term interest of the club.

That's our one philosophy.

The difficulty sometimes is that you'll make decisions that you can't fully explain and that you can't go public with and explain.
