And I thought, what if I just talked to a character?

And that's what I did.

I got on the air and I started talking to this guy named Raj Finian, a character I created for the Gulf War.

And he's talking about George Bush.

And we started getting calls.

And this guy's like, I'm just driving through your burg.

I don't know anything about you people.

But you, how dare you?

Because my producer was going, there's people calling.

Do you want to bring them on?

So that was an element I didn't expect.

That was an element I did not expect at all.

Right.

So I began doing these different character voices and creating different scenarios.

And I can't tell you what the basic sketches were.

They had a lot to do with Operation Desert Shield because that's what was happening at the time.

So, you know, but my first day on the air, I did Rajvanine.

So I didn't have to really go too far to know that there were people out there calling and they thought this guy was real.

As my producer, a young guy named Greg Lassner said, people think he's a real guy.
