Well, in this case, I was just very lucky because I, after being invited the first time, I genuinely meant that I've been going to comedy festivals all over the world, that the New Zealand Comedy Festival was indeed the best comedy festival I had been to at the time.

So I accepted immediately.

I bought a house with my partner who has two children, two 11- and 10-year-old boys.
And so to get away from them is fantastic.
