But if I just stop right there and read that Sermon on the Mount,

When he said, blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness.

You see these same lines here.

In fact, Luke chapter 4 says,

actually quotes that.

Jesus, it's way closer to what it's saying here.

But it goes on to say in verse, at the end of verse three, it says, they will be called oaks of righteousness, a planning of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

Verse six, you will be called priest of the Lord.

You will be named ministers of God.

You will feed on the wealth of the nations.

and in their riches you will boast.

Instead of their shame, my people will receive a double portion.
