So obviously it needs time to soak.

And you've got sun beating down on the water that's on the surface sitting on the grass.

It's going to cause more of that to evaporate away before it can soak down lower.

So, you're kind of wasting the amount of water where if you do it in cooler periods, like in the evening, more of that water won't be, I suppose, evaporated away and it'll have the ability or the chance to soak down deeper into the lawn.

So, there is a bit of science behind it, absolutely.

It's not just... And I think one of the other things as well is that when you...

when you water plants, obviously they become, they might open up or become like, oh great, we're not as protected.

They come like that hedgehog, they unfurl being ready, like rain is coming and soaked.

So they might be a little bit more vulnerable and then that sun beats down once that water is evaporated.

But really what you're looking to do is to get water deep and soaked into the soil so that it's hitting the spaces that do the most bits of the work and make your grass look the way you want it to look, which I suppose in the future might be a little bit changey as well.

We're not all going to be used to chasing after that, I suppose, that Wimbledon tennis kind of look that people crave sometimes.

So one of the things with cutting as well, with cutting with weeds, is that you'll cut and you'll spread their seeds around as well.

A lot of the time, if you just get a lawnmower that kind of cuts and spreads all of that around, you're almost...

doing the job of the weed spreading itself.

So you really want to get into the weed itself and take it from the root out as much as you possibly can.

Cutting grass, I suppose, inherently damages it because you cut it from the top, but cutting it down lower will give chance potential.

If you look at weeds, they tend to spread out and have bigger leaves as well, which will block more grass underneath it.

So you're kind of creating a little bit of a better environment for the weeds to thrive than you are from the grass.

So, you know, a minimal amount, but raising up that lawnmower will allow chance just to keep the bits of the grass underneath shielded and then try and get after those weeds.

It's a bit of a pain.
