I mean, actually, y you listen to the president talk, and I think he thinks tariffs are like an entry fee.
You know, I think he sort of sees the word tariff up on a on a on a club or something, and you know, the tariff to get in is five dollars or a hundred dollars or whatever.
He thinks that's that's what a tariff is.
He thinks people pay the amount.
to get access to the US market.
That's what he that's how he counters it.
So he views it as something that doesn't fall on the US consumer or producer or anyone, falls on the Chinese producer.

Um, you could say, well, that's just the way things work in modern politics.
Um, but they really have moved down very, very hard and fast and and seem to be staying low.
So as a result, the betting odds on the twenty twenty-six midterms are something like seventy-five, eighty percent.

So that, you know, may not happen, but let's say it does.
So within eighteen months, uh, you're looking at a potentially very significant change, um, or at least probably a move to almost complete gridlock in politics.
