So really what we're seeing at the moment I think is a growing recognition that they need to address the second of those problems.
And you know, they will.
They'll they'll they'll they'll turn their property market around.
That doesn't change the fundamental negatives.
And I think they're twofold.
One is demographic.
You know, the the the secular changes which we've seen play across most of Asia.
And then I think the other one is the political.
You know, we've got a repressive regime in China that is not good for economic growth.
Um, it's not good for the business environment, and it's certainly not good for uh for for for sort of entrepreneurial capitalism, which is something China had for a couple of decades uh
uh i in in in you know after after they you know af well uh uh after the turn of the century.
So I think the Xi policy is, you know, I'm not gonna say it's wrong or anything, it's not you know, it's what they want or what he wants, but it's not good for a a rapidly growing economy.
I I I you know maybe we could in a sense we're close the loop here and come back to where we started, which you know, with the Trump
program and all that.
Because I think what we've got going on here is a much less integrated, much more
fragmented global economy.
And it really began in the aftermath of the financial crisis, in my view.
And the financial sector was the first to be sort of disintegrated.
And from that point onwards we've sort of you know we've continued that process, you know, Brexit I mentioned and various other, you know, anti anti free trade policies.
And then COVID kind of acted as a almost like the
