So I think at the moment, my you know, my view is is
it's right to proceed cautiously and steadily.
Uh the guys who are being aggressive are generally those who've overshot on the high side and need to need to come down a little bit more.
And and in Europe, for example, the best example of that is the Rigs Bank in Sweden.
You know, the there's another example of a hare that likes to, you know, overdo it.
And now they're they're they're kind of coming down on the weak side.
The Bank of England
you mentioned and I think the Bank of England is is, you know, maybe it's my my them on my first employer, so I've kind of got a great loyalty to the bank.
You know, I think of the bank as actually
you know, following a sensible course.
Um
The UK has inherently a bit more inflation than some of these other countries because of, for example, the negatives of Brexit and the supply side shock that that gave you.
And also it's you know, it's a little bit of a tendency for higher wage inflation than some other countries.
You know, again partly related to Brexit.
But it's
Well, I so it's a very interesting I mean to me the the the Euro point is fascinating because Germany really is in a bad place because of a structural bet that policymakers there made starting really in the late nineties, early two thousands, to say the East is our opportunity, uh Russia specifically, but more generally the East is our wonderful
opportunity to become more like the US.
And they, you know, they deeply entrenched their economy into that, including a lot of
financial but also real economy links and of course they've all unraveled very dramatically since twenty.
No, I d I think China China's on a secular downward trend and and so uh and compounding that is the property excesses, the other property excesses.
