So they can't just say, oh, well, that one thing is going to lead to this specific claim.
So things like BMI is a good example.
It has broader impacts on your health, a high BMI for a long time.
Other things are sometimes family history.
will lead to a loading as well.
And what a loading is, is they charge you a higher premium for that additional risk.
So similar to, you know, car insurance, if you're young, under 25, you get a loading on your premium.
It's just because you're younger.
It's just make it more expensive.
Yeah, because you're more likely to crash.
Yeah.
So that's what an exclusion or a loading is.

Like if you've got a wrist exclusion or an elbow exclusion in your office worker, they may just do an assessment on your wrist or elbow and say, hey, is that all good now?
Have you been a number of years away from your last treatment or symptoms?
And they'll remove it.
Something like mental health, because there is a significant amount of claims going on for mental health, they will want to do a full assessment of your overall health history again for that.
So there are some things that they'll do a full assessment, some where they'll just specify, okay, if there's no issues there, then we'll remove that.
