Sometimes you're meeting the last man who'd lifted it, and he can tell you the whole genealogy and lineage of people who'd lifted it before him.
You know, his father, his great-granduncle, his grandfather.
Going the whole way back through the years.
And he was the last man to lift it, but that could be 50 years ago.
It could be 60 years ago.
And he was so, I mean, some of them, the excitement, the absolute joy, like, that someone had come, and you're the next link in the chain now.
And then you become almost like a part of the family.
It's like, you know, my dad lifted it, my granddad lifted it, my great granddad lifted it, and now you're lifting it.
So it's like, anytime you're here, come up, you know, come into the house.
Don't even knock.
Like, just come in and we'll have a cup of tea and a chat.
