Desi, unfortunately, that was one thing that I would have felt that probably we lacked a little bit.
That competitive edge and the full back line of, you know, he's coming behind me, Philly's coming behind me, I need to make sure I'm on my game.
Do you know?
So...
Does it have that now?
Probably not.
There's lads that unfortunately are struggling with performances and they're still playing because they're relied upon in terms of experience and that's the...
That's the harsh reality of it.
You need to have competitiveness in the squad and that will only make the younger lads and the fringe players even better to drive them on.
So if them standards are lower then everything is lower performance wise.
It's a difficult one to call, it really is.
Like if Dublin beat Westmead, then you're probably going, they have a better chance of a bigger result, you know.
But then them being beaten by Westmead and loud sitting in the grass, waiting a little bit, you know, watching everything, watching first of all what they've done wrong against Dublin, what Dublin have done well, and then looking at the Westmead game and going, oh, that's how we beat them.
you know we'll take a little bit of that and add on what we already have it's that's what would would give me a little bit of a concern going into that layout could take double you know um but in saying that as you mentioned if some of those players even just some of those players are back uh in the squad playing the last couple of weeks in the avb games or in training
that's going to be a massive boost added with the disappointment of losing the Leicester final.
I think that will drive Dublin on to beat them.
Do you know, like, so, obviously a few more forwards there, but like, it strengthens the squad massively.
even Dean mentioning those is like, is good because that means then that loud are focusing on another team, right?
If Dean didn't mention them, Dean says, you know, or the question is not even asked to Dean, then loud aren't really thinking, but they're saying, oh yeah, look, these players could be possibly playing, but now they're going, oh, hold on, let's plan for if these are playing.
So it takes more energy away from loud.
