step up here and it was fires all over the place and at that point then a management team can't do anything and certainly players can't do anything because what happens is players start to become individuals and they stop doing what they actually should be doing as a strategy you know they start thinking I have to bring the team back into this now so I'm going to start doing something that I shouldn't be doing I'm going to start taking men on but they're getting turned over all this stuff taking shots when they shouldn't be taking shots

so there's a big bulk of work that I'm sure Devon will have to do it's Dunstar progression a little bit yeah but there's no harm in them saying they wanted the Ireland because that's what they wanted yeah no that's fair it's just a difficult journey for them because also you beat you beat Donegal last year's All-Ireland finalists

since last year yeah no i think it's been once there's so many shocks and surprises it's going to be a good year you know um and it gives hope for the next couple of years particularly for other counties that are you know looking in going you know what what could possibly happen if we really get stuff together get things right um i think there's a there's a lot of teams looking at this year and kind of go the next couple of years we could have a real crack here like

Yeah, I wasn't worried at that stage because I said to myself, if I cross the board, by the way, for any team, once it's tie-ish, and nowadays with six points, it actually would have, you know, you still have that belief that you can get a couple of scores and get back into the game.

But once it's tie come the end of quarter three, whoever has that momentum is going to make life difficult for the opposition.

And if it was going to be Dublin with the fan base and the crowd that was there, it was going to be very hard for Galway to change that momentum.

And that's what I really felt was happening.

The goal obviously came at a perfect time.

I kind of felt then when it was kind of hitting quarter three, I was like, they have to be ruthless here.

They have to really keep the ball up the opposite end of the pitch because Galway were finding it very easy to get scores.

I think at times Dublin were finding it hard energy-wise to get out of their own defence.

There's a good example of Davey Bourne on the ball and he's getting squashed, closed in with a high press and he kicks the ball.

I think he was trying to hit someone with the ball but

you could see bodies were starting to slow down, the support of each, coming out of the fence just wasn't there, it was kind of like, you go for it, you take your man on, I'm too wrecked here.

So the ball kept up the opposite end of the pitch,

Dominant around midfield and having the players they have up there was the key.

But I just think that was a key takeaway for me was that at that vital shift from quarter three to quarter four, have you got the momentum?
