So I look forward to the letter, but I'm not willing to give up on this, and I will be voting yes.
Thank you.
I don't believe we'll be able to do a pause on administrative applications as the state code specifies deadlines that staff has to meet in its review of administrative applications.
With regard to legislative applications, they have to work their way through the planning commission before they get to the board, and then the board has one year in which to act on it.
So I do see an opportunity there in that one year period should the board not act on legislative applications before an applicant could take the county to court.

The crisis was identifiable and the solution was on the horizon.
Are you done with your question?

Okay.
The idea is to pause processing applications and site plans so that we can finish our data center standards and locations phase two.
make sure that we finish all of those before any more data center applications come through.
I'm looking to test the waters.
I'm actually looking to test the waters because I think that it could be argued that we are in a crisis on many levels.
Thank you, Madam Chair.
You're welcome.
