I think it would be helpful for the county attorney to remind us again of prohibitions on moratoriums in Virginia.
um i i will not support this particular motion tonight as i i suspect we would have a hard time defending it in court if it got that far but i i think legal advices would be beneficial to the board thank you miss uh the crony

I do support taking a pause.
I'm going to call it a pause until we have the updated standards of phase two completed and also a plan for our electrical infrastructure.
Loudoun's electric grid and community is at a breaking point.
And I think we do need to pause all approvals, including administrative and planning district date and demand transparency and a plan to protect the public from the impacts of unconstrained data center growth.
I think a pause.
It could be legal if we tie it to something like a phase two data center standards or an electrical infrastructure plan, which we're working on.
I want to make it clear we have not completed such a plan and I believe our residents are suffering because, you know,
We have not been able to catch up, frankly.
And I think we can do better to protect the quality of life of our residents.
Loudoun is oversaturated with data center development, and I think we do need to take a pause.
This is like the one county in the state of Virginia that needs this pause.
