And listen, I mean, some of these contracts are hard to move.

I mean, you know, Edmonton, I think they're talking to a lot of teams, but it's not been easy so far trying to move Darnell Nurse.

But I was told today that's not accurate.

Yes, it's been a difficult negotiation.

They are not close.

But I'm told both sides want to take another run at this and try to find common ground on extension.

But in the meantime, Jim Neal and Dallas Towers keep taking calls on him because they have to know where they can pivot if they decide they can't afford his ask at the end of the day.

And I think, you know, he's not UFA, he's RFA, so you might say on the one hand, what's the rush here?

But the rush is I think they're worried about an offer shoot next Wednesday.

So I think they feel they probably need to fish or cut pay

within the next seven days.

But both sides are still at it.

It's not a foregone conclusion that he won't sign.

Yeah, so what I heard there in the last 24 hours is that, you know, listen, Minnesota wants so badly to get him, as you know.

But I was told that Detroit has sold teams.

If we don't get what we feel is the package we need to trade a star player that's signed for several years at a good contract, we are ready to tell them to come back to camp.
