I remember my first experience like getting that and I was so weirded out.

Yeah, I remember the pad or tampon debate was like a hot topic and it was like you were kind of cool if you used a tampon.

And if you had a pad, then you were a fucking baby and you didn't know how to deal.

having the tampon lessons as what Mia said like I guess it was maybe like a woman or a mom or someone close to her explaining how to do it and then you always have these questions afterwards because like you said we don't have applicators in Australia and you're literally like okay cool so what do I do now that I have my hand is like blood on it and it's like I don't know just fucking figure it out it's like oh my god the trauma of that is crazy

Yeah, because I feel like that indicates a different type of shame for each person.

Yeah, I definitely relate to that feeling of feeling left behind in that sort of scenario.
