But then if the job comes through, you know, you tickety-boo, everything's great for however long that's going to last.

So I guess the structure that I would stick to most consistently would be kind of like a percentage plan.

I have figures in mind.

So let's say my schedule is pretty regular, like rent, that's paid immediately.

A certain percentage will go to investing, a certain percentage will go to saving, a certain percentage will go to spending.

One little kind of bucket.

For me, I've got a lot of family that lives in Indonesia.

So I try and put away 3% of everything I own just into like a little kind of bucket to kind of have for them whenever I visit, because it's kind of customary to, in a way, pass on or share the, I guess, the privilege that I have living here.

And for me, like 3%, that's not significant, right?

Like that could be coffees or lunch or a couple beers at the pub.

Those little buckets and those percentages are what I stick to because there is such volatility in my earning, basically.

Yeah, for sure.

Yeah, so I guess I'll stick to that amount, right?

So like, let's say it's 27% thereabouts for investing.

So I'll just take that from every paycheck.

Yes, exactly.

You know, it's very much early days.

I've only been investing, I'd say, for three years really.

So know what I invest in, understand what I invest in, and keep consistent with it.
