The man they're watching is so far past who they knew, some of them are just like, where did this come from?
When I've spoken to people who have known Tyson at various stages of his life, especially years ago,
They've all said they've been kind of shocked watching him on screen because although they knew he did have some traditional views, this time last year, as last season of Married at First Sight once again became the biggest show and biggest talking point in Australia.
The biggest show around the world, which was streaming at the same time though, that was Netflix's Adolescence.
And as married at first sight was being discussed across Australia, adolescence, that was being discussed globally.
If you haven't watched it yet, Adolescence is a drama that followed the story of a 13 year old schoolboy in the UK who murdered his female classmate after being brainwashed by what is called red pill content online.
And this content, it promotes like hyper masculinity for men and submissive roles for women and all these harmful ideologies towards women.
And that show, it had parents crying, asking, shit, is it too late for my children?
And it had leaders around the world urging all schools to stream this show as a piece of education.
And although the show focused on how young people especially are the most impressionable to this content, it's men of all ages and men exactly like Tyson.
The line there about how this newsfeed of escalating extreme content ultimately leads to men hating women whilst simultaneously wanting one and wanting them to obey them, that's important because listen back to what Tyson said in his backstory.
When Tyson says that he hates woke women, to me, I believe this actually means he actually just hates any woman who won't bow down to him as the alpha male he sees himself as.
In the wake of adolescents running alongside Married at First Sight last year, a few things happened, which stay with me here because it is all relevant when it comes to this untold story of Tyson.
Firstly, it made people want to take action.
Listen to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer here.
while also urging everybody to watch this Netflix show.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said this, I encourage anyone to have a look at it.
It's scary.
These parents depicted not knowing what their young son, who they love, has engaged in.
And there's a scene towards the end where the father, he says he thought his son was safe.
