He was in his bedroom every night.
We thought he was safe.
Well, it's had tragic impact for him.
but a worse impact for his victim, and so this is something we need to have a conversation about.
Prime Minister Albanese, he also used this show and referenced it often in his under-16s social media ban campaign, which is now in full effect, and is also being copied in other countries around the world.
Now that ban, it wasn't a direct result of adolescence, but adolescence and the conversations that show started were a driving force in the ban going from an idea to becoming actual reality.
It started a movement of people all around the world wanting to find ways to prevent not just more kids falling victim to this red pill manosphere content, but men of all ages too.
And if you ask me, at least, in my opinion, I think married at first sight bosses, they saw that movement and all of that positive action and desperate urge for change.
And well, it seems that they thought, why don't we do the opposite?
Why don't we cast someone with views bordering on extreme that will make people horrified?
And it seems the casting team of this show also did this while telling themselves, hey, why don't we also ignore, you know, all those stats out there of how men with views like this can so quickly escalate to violence against women.
Adolescence was a show that raised awareness in the most confronting way.
And Married at First Sight, it took the same themes from that show, but again, to me at least, it said, let's flip it and use this as a way to rage bait people in ways we haven't managed before.
And as expected, that's now happening.

I disagree.
On an even bigger scale, you've then got the likes of Minister of Social Services Tanya Pilbusek saying stuff like this.
And of course, we've also got the female relationship experts on the show.
being applauded for how they've stood up against Tyson already in scenes like this.
Okay.
